The 17th annual Rebuilding Day, sponsored by Rebuilding Together of Geneseo/Cambridge, will be Saturday, April 30.

To complete the six planned projects, more than 100 volunteers are needed.

Rebuilding Together offers home improvements for low income homeowners, including the elderly, single parents, those with disabilities and veterans.

“Work ranges from re-roofing, insulating, painting, installing new windows and doors and much, much more,” said Sarah Snyder, executive director of Rebuilding Together of Geneseo/Cambridge.

More than 20 wheelchair ramps will be weatherized.

“No skills are necessary, just a positive attitude and willingness to help your neighbor,” said Snyder.

Volunteers are asked to register at Cambridge?Village Hall between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Volunteers must be 14 or older.

Groups wishing to volunteer are asked to contact Snyder in advance at 944-6442 or exec@geneseo.net.
