Fire damages historic wooden courthouse

Cambridge and Osco-Andover Fire Departments responded to an early morning fire at Cambridge Heritage Village on the corner of Prospect and Locust Streets Friday, Nov. 5. The wooden 1840’s former Henry County Courthouse was damaged according to Ed Dole, Cambridge Fire Department chief, who received the call at approximately 1:15 a.m. There was some damage done on the inside of the building and outside of the building according to Dole, who said the fire is still being investigated.
