Starting March 15, current students at Spoon River College can take advantage of online registration for the 2018 fall semester. Face-to-face registration with an advisor for all students will begin April 2.

“Current students are encouraged to register online as soon as possible to ensure they get the classes they need and the schedule they want,” said Director of Enrollment Services Janet Munson.

Regular 16-week classes and the first session of 8-week classes will begin Monday, Aug. 20, and a session of 12-week classes will begin Monday, Sept. 17.

New students are encouraged to meet with an advisor to ensure they enroll in the courses needed for their particular program of study. New students must also complete an application and take a placement test, or have evidence of official ACT or SAT scores before registering. There is no fee for the application or the placement test.

On the Canton and Macomb campuses, the placement test is offered on a walk-in basis between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. At the Rushville and Havana centers, appointments are encouraged. Bring a photo ID.

Deadline for tuition payment is Wednesday, Aug. 1, and students must have it paid in full by then or be enrolled in the automatic payment plan. For more information about financial aid options and deadlines, visit http://www.src.edu/services/financial-aid/Pages/default.aspx or call 309-649-7030.
