Mike Fritch, commander of Cambridge American Legion Post No. 417, presents an award to Tom Akers as Cambridge Firefighter of the Year during the Veteran’s Day Soup and Chili Supper Friday, Nov. 11 at Valley View Country Club. Other nominees for the award were Al Swanson, Josh Hutchinson and Chris Brown.
