Whoever’s doing that rain dance out there needs to stop. The Cambridge area received 2 1/2 to 3 inches of rain over the weekend and more on Monday evening, March 9. Several residents voiced their frustrations to village administrator Dwaine VanMeenen. “There’s really not anything we can do about Mother Nature,” stated Jim Crouch, village president. “The pumps throughout town were running all weekend, trying to alleviate as many problems as possible.” Two more inches of rain was expected Tuesday, March 10, but then the sun should make an appearance.
