On an engineer’s recommendation, the village of Andover will sink a camera underground to get video images of its second well to help decide whether to spend between $30,000 and $60,000 on repairs or drill a new well.

The well was first filmed in 1999.

John Roegiers of Missman, Stanley and Associates told village trustees Monday, Jan. 4, that even through a new repair could last, the well could later break in a different spot and require additional work.
