Brian Norberg of Ridgewood qualified for the state 3-point shooting contest with his performance in the sectional finals on Friday, March 5, at Bushnell-Prairie City High School.
He fired in two shots from the right side, three from the top of the key and four from the left side.
Norberg will compete in the preliminary round of the state contest at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 11, in the Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center.
If he advances to the finals, he will shoot about 1:45 p.m. Friday, March 12. The finals are between semifinal games.
