Haley L. Harp, 21, of Cambridge died as a result of an automobile accident early Wednesday morning, May 12, 2010, east of Cambridge, while returning home from work.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at First United Methodist Church, Geneseo, with the Rev. Dr. Christopher Ritter officiating. Burial was in Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 14, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services.
Memorials may be made to the Haley Harp Memorial Fund for her daughter.
Haley was born Feb. 3, 1989, in Princeton, the daughter of James G. and Linda K. (Lind) Harp. She was educated in Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 2007. She attended Illinois Central College in East Peoria and was currently studying nursing at Blackhawk College, East Campus, Kewanee.
Haley was working at Cerno’s Bar and Grill in Kewanee. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Geneseo. Haley enjoyed being with friends and family, especially her daughter.
Those surviving are her daughter, Ciara Lee, at home; her parents, Jim and Linda Harp, Cambridge; a grandmother, Eleanor Walker, Princeton; sisters, Megan (Matt) Bainter, Chillicothe and Jasmine Harp, Cambridge; a nephew and niece, Drew and Ali Bainter; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her grandparents, Vernon and Florence Harp and Robert and Patricia Lind, preceded her in death.
