Obituary: Curtis Morris

    Curtis Wayne "Mr. Mo" Morris of Tampa, Fla., 76, departed this life Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, after a long illness.  

    A memorial service was held at the Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz, Fla. A "Celebration of Life" about Curt Morris will be 
held in late June at Mariposa, Ca. 

    He was born in Huntington, Texas, on Oct. 4, 1935. After serving in the United States Air Force, he was employed by Raytheon Missile Systems as field engineer/consultant to the USAF where he enjoyed a long and illustrious career. 

    He is survived by his wife,  Joan Dobbels; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Randy Smith and grandson, Cooper Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Vesna Morris; granddaughters, Havana and Mathilda Morris; sisters, Jaenell Pierce, Sharon Morris, Linda Ekis; and his brother Jerry Morris.  

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Louise Morris, and his brothers, David and Jackson Morris.          

    Curt will live on in the hearts and memories of his loved ones forever.  He will fondly be remembered for his wit, charm, love and devotion to family, friends and country.
