ORION—Virginia A. Anderson, 89, of Orion died Friday, April 30, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Swedona Lutheran Church. Burial is in Swedona Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Swedona Lutheran Church. Virginia was born April 6, 1921, in Kentucky, the daughter of Vandorn and Ora Floyd. She married Allen Simmon, and he preceded her in death in 1974. She then married Kenneth B. Anderson, and he preceded her in death in 1989.
