Stephen C. Bloom, 64, of rural Cambridge, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Cremation followed the visitation and a private inurnment service will be held at a later date in Andover Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Steve Bloom Memorial Fund.
Steve was born Dec. 18, 1944, in Galesburg, the son of Chester G. and Mary A. (Hanlon) Bloom. He was educated in Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1963. His marriage to Elaine Kaiser took place on Nov. 12, 2002, in Cambridge.
