Carl F."Pappy" Lange, 93, a fixture in the Cambridge community, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Hillcrest Home, rural Geneseo. 
    Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services with the Rev. Lucille Kness officiating.  Burial was in Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge.  Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hillcrest Home Memorial Fund.
    Carl was born May 11, 1916, in Peru, the son of Carl P. and Lillian (Hoscheit) Lange.  He was educated in East Moline area schools and graduated from East Moline High School in 1933.  His marriage to Mildred Deubert took place on March 11, 1939, in Tipton Iowa.  She died on April 15, 1978.
