Wow! The first quarter is over and we are well on our way into the second quarter.

I would like to thank everyone who helps to make Cambridge Schools such a great place for kids—the Cambridge School Board, administrators, teachers, staff, and last of all, you, the parents.

It truly is a team effort that makes this school stand out. I would like to take the time to remind you of a few things.

The swings and the parallel bars have been installed on the elementary playground and they are being used everyday.

I would like to thank the following for their help in this project. Without them, this project would not have happened for our kids.

 Organizations: Cambridge Parents Club.

Businesses: Nelson Construction, Eric and Chad Nelson; CK  Homes, Kyle Stromquist; Edwards Ready Mix and Blade Trucking.

Volunteer help: Brad and Darren Wexell, Mark Palmer, Gene and Matt Stromquist, Al Steider, Steve Brandau, Blake Reed, Scott Smith, Dick Borg and Don Hulin.

I would also like to thank sixth grade student, Nathan Bowers, who so courageously served as the foreman for the project.

Also, a reminder that the Cambridge Parents Network sign up sheets will be available at the next meeting, Tuesday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Please don’t hesitate to use Power School to check your child’s progress or call your child’s teacher to check on your child. As always, thank you for your support.
