I would like to wish all of you a happy and joyful holiday season and thank you for sharing your greatest gift with us, your children. It is a joy every day to see the hallways filled with students who are excited about learning. As an educator, to be a part of this time of their lives is one of the greatest gifts of being in education.
I would like to remind parents that with winter coming upon us, we will be using the Quick Contact System to call you in case of a school cancellation or early dismissal due to weather. Please let us know if you are not receiving the calls or if you would like us to send them to a different phone.
I would also encourage all parents to continue using the PowerSchool system to keep track of your child’s progress in school. Along with that, if you have concerns or questions about an issue at school, please don’t hesitate to call your child’s teacher, the school principal or me. I have found almost any issue can be resolved by communication between the school and the parent.
Also, please check the school calendar for concert dates, tournaments, and activities. I encourage you all to attend. I hope you have safe travels and find time to be together as a family.
