CAMBRIDGE—The Men’s 666 tournament was held Sunday, Aug. 1, at Valley View Country Club. Results included the first place team of Mike Lewis and Todd Meyers with a score of 65.75, and second place was awarded to the team of Kyle Smith and Jon Maciolek with a score of 66.
CAMBRIDGE—The Cambridge Youth Sports League (CYSL) will host a mush ball tournament, 3-on-3 basketball tournament and volleyball tournament during the Cambridge Main Street Family Fest and Auto Show Saturday, August 21. Registration forms are available on the CYSL website. Deadline for entry is Monday, Aug. 9.

CAMBRIDGE—The Ridgewood Spartan Booster Club is preparing for its second annual golf outing Saturday, Aug. 7, at Valley View Club, rural Cambridge.
CAMBRIDGE—Glenna Palmer of Cambridge is a very talented woman and she loves to share that talent with the public. Palmer, who has lost part of her sight, will be singing the National Anthem at the Quad Cities River Bandits game at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Modern Woodmen Park, Davenport, Iowa.
CAMBRIDGE—The Luck of The Draw Tournament was held Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Valley View Country Club, Cambridge. The format for the event was lowest three of the four nets per hole.
CAMBRIDGE—To promote health and fitness at the Cambridge Elementary School, Carrie Titus, community health educator with the Henry County Health Department, put on a program called Extreme Super Steppers. This program became very successful during the year with 14 students walking over 400 miles during the school year. As a school 35,422.75 miles were walked.

The Ridgewood Spartans' second annual Boosters golf outing is set for Saturday, Aug. 7, at Valley View Club, Cambridge. A shotgun start will be held at 8 a.m.
ANDOVER—The junior varsity and varsity softball teams were honored during a dessert banquet Tuesday, June 1, at the Andover Lake Park.
PEORIA—Kourtnie Janson, sophomore at Bradley University, recently completed a strong second track season on the Braves women’s track team and was appointed President of the Braves Council, as well as being named to the Bradley Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the spring of 2010.
WOODHULL—On Thursday, May 27, members of the Ridgewood Spartans baseball team were honored at a banquet at AlWood High School in Woodhull.
CAMBRIDGE—Ridgewood landed three players on the Lincoln Trail's All-Conference first team for softball, including Ella Teel, Ashley Kruger and Amanda Kruger.
CAMBRIDGE—The Ridgewood girl’s track team held its postseason banquet Wednesday evening, May 19, at Cambridge High School. A potluck dinner was held followed by a movie featuring the track team and awards.
ONEIDA—The host ROWVA Tigers knocked off the second-seeded Ridgewood Spartans 8-2 on Wednesday, May 19, to advance to the softball regional championship game on Saturday, May 22, in Oneida.
FARMINGTON—On Friday, May 21, the Ridgewood Spartans boys track team competed at the Farmington track sectional. Out of the 15 teams participating, the Ridgewood Spartans placed 11th with 12 points.
BUSHNELL—Ridgewood boys placed third at the Spartan Invitational at Bushnell-Prairie City Monday, May 17.
