Pontiac player, coach to be part of all-star game

Pontiac will be represented at the ninth annual Speaks Basketball High School All-Star Game Sunday at MacMurray College.
The event will feature four teams in a doubleheader. There will also be 3-point and slam dunk contests at halftime of each contest.
Making the trip to represent Class 3A Herscher Regional champion Pontiac will be Alden Rutledge and head coach Durrell Robinson.
Robinson will coach the Red team, which includes Rutledge. Also on the squad are Danville’s Day’Len Davis Williams and Adam Forthenberry, giving the squad a definite Pontiac Holiday Tournament flavor.
Also playing for Red will be Matt Mizera of Raymond (Lincolnwood), Yansyn Taylor of Decatur (Eisenhower), Riverton’s Tyler Moushon, Gezus Oliver of Mt. Pulaski, Jarrell Tarr of Springfield (Lanphier) and Manny Green of Decatur (St. Teresa).
