Another one-run loss for Hawks

    For the second game in a row, Prairie Central let a lead get away and lost a one-run decision. On Thursday, the Hawks lost 2-1 to host Olympia in an IPC contest.
    Prairie Central scored a run in the second inning for a 1-0 lead. It came on Amber Graf’s home run to lead off the inning. The Hawks left two runners on base in the each of the next two frames but failed to score.
    Olympia got its runs in the third and fourth innings.
    Graf homered and singled for the hawks. Brianna Seeman also had two hits while Faith Bachtold, Jadyn Stephens and Bella Carranza each singled.
    Bachtold scattered five hits and walked two while striking out three in the circle.
