Youth softball and Rookie League baseball

    Kora Mae Johnson had a huge night at the plate in leading Clark Hose to a 12-9 win over Dewald Construction in Little Miss softball Monday.
    Johnson had a triple and two singles for Clark hose. Hailey Shelton homered and Natalie Taylor had a two-base hit. Kora Edens had two hits and Aubry Edens singled.
    Bailey McArthur had a double and single while Bella Murphy and Kylie Legris each had two hits for Dewald Construction. Carley Schneeman had a single.
Clark Hose 14, Dewald 10
    Clark Hose topped Dewald Construction on Friday 14-10 as Hailey Shelton had three base hits. Aubry Edens had two hits and Alex Martinez had a three-base hit. Collecting one hit each were Kori Mae Johnson, Leah Wilson, Alex Martinez, Taylor Henson and Kora Edens.
    Bevin Brummel had a double for Dewald with Carley Schneeman, Bailey McArthur, Bella Murphy and Haiden Francis each collecting a single.
Rookie Miss
Lyons-Sullivan Realty 3, Sturms Seeds 3
    Lyons-Sullivan Realty and Sturms Seeds played to a 3-3 tie in a Rookie Miss softball game Monday.
    Harper Francis had a double and single for Lyons-Sullivan. Lily Sipe, Aubrey Thompson and Peyton Mercer each had a two-base hit. Madison haan and Brenna Burgess-Lang each singled.
    Sturms Seeds received two hits from Erin Singer, Baddie Fearman, Maggie Crawford and Alyson Trout. Susan Berry, Kingsley Henry, Tinley Henson and Ruby Sturms each had one hit.
Rookie League
Tool’s 13, Mid-Illinois Mechanical 12
    Tool’s Auto Sales rallied in its final at bat to post a 13-12 win over Mid-Illinois Mechanical in a Rookie League game Friday.
    Mid-Illinois scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 12-7 lead. Tool’s pushed across six runs in the bottom of the inning to eke out the win.
    Braden Haase missed hitting for the cycle when he was brought back to third base after hitting his second triple of the night. He also had a double and single for Tool’s. Henry Yedinak also had two triples and singled while Ayden Henkel had a triple, a double and a single. Braxton Flahaut collected a triple and two singles, Caden Ferguson and Jaden Van Houten each had two singles while Gage Munch, Chris Legner and Colton Fosdick each added a single.
    Griffin Dodson had two doubles and a single for Mid-Illinois. Connor Mackinson and Gavin McKinney each had three singles, Blaine Kuerth had a double and a single and Tyler Pryor and Dawson Shepard each had two singles. Braylon Moss smacked a double while Isaac Underhill, Tye Abraham, Adrian Gill, Korey Olson and Seth Henry each had a single.
