Hull finishes fourth at conference meet

Heather Hull, a junior at Monmouth College and a member of the Fighting Scots track team, placed fourth in javelin at the outdoor Midwest Conference Track Meet Saturday, May 15, at Jacksonville.

On Friday, May 14, she cleared 5-1 in high jump for fifth-place honors.

On Friday, May 7, Hull tied for first place in high jump clearing 5-1 with four other girls at a Central Open Track Meet in Pella, Iowa. She also placed fourth in the javelin at the meet.

Hull cleared 5-3 in high jump, which is just two inches off the women’s provisional standard, good for second place at the Fighting Scot Invitational Saturday, May 1, at Monmouth College. Later in the day, she took fourth place in javelin.

At the Loras Open in Dubuque, Iowa, Saturday, April 24, Hull won the javelin with a throw of 117-0. She placed sixth in high jump that day.

On Saturday, April 17, the Monmouth team attended the Augustana Viking Relays, Rock Island, where she placed seventh in high jump and eighth in javelin.

Hull placed third at javelin at the WIU Lee Calhoun Invitational at Macomb Saturday, April 10. She tied for sixth in high jump.

On Friday and Saturday, April 2 and 3, the Monmouth track team participated in the Washington University Invitational at St. Louis, Missouri. She placed sixth in javlin and tied for 13th in high jump.

At the Viking Olympics at Augustana College in Rock Island on Friday and Saturday, March 26 and 27, she placed 7th in javelin and tied for 11th in high jump.
