    Annawan did its damage in the first and third quarters, outscoring the Spartans 18-9 in the opening frame and 21-6 in the third frame to extend its lead to 44-20 before topping Ridgewood 59-35 in varsity boys' basketball on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

    Ben Smith topped Ridgewood (0-17 overall, 0-3 LTC) with nine points, followed by Alex Main with six points.

    Chad Leathers scored a three point shot. James Brooks and Andrew Steider tallied up four points each.

    Aaron Leander, Sam Althaus, and Blayne Street scored two points apiece, as Elisha McCreary earned three points for the Spartans.
