Ridgewood boys' basketball gives up early lead in loss to Annawan

    Ridgewood boys found themselves running away with a 13-7 lead at the end of the first quarter against Annawan, in hopes of scoring a win in the Lincoln Trail Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 28.
 
   Unfortunately for the Spartans, host Annawan answered the Ridgewood rally with a 24-12 revival in the second quarter to lead 31-25 at the half, and ultimately secured a Braves victory by outscoring the Spartans 19-15 in the fourth quarter.

    The final score of the game was 65-54.

    Elisha McCreary topped Ridgewood with 18 points, followed by Ridge Greenman with 10.

    James Brooks finished the contest with six points, after scoring two three-point shots.
 
   Alex Main, Sam Althaus, and Nate Humphrey all concluded the game scoring seven, four, and two points for their squad.
