Ridgewood Spartans continue to keep their winning streak alive as they played three games last week. On Monday, Dec. 7, they hosted West Central at AlWood High School and won 42-17. On Friday, Dec. 11, Ridgewood hosted Galva in non-conference action at Cambridge High School. On Saturday, Dec. 12, the Spartans boarded a bus and took a road trip to near Springfield were they participated in the Riverton Shootout.
Ridgewood has a 10-0 record overall for the year. On Friday, Dec. 18, the Spartans will travel to Riverdale for another non-conference game. The frosh-soph game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with the varsity game to follow. Next week the varsity team will play in the Prophetstown Basketball Tournament beginning Saturday, Dec. 26.
