Two Ridgewood players, Brian Norberg and Tyler Nimrick, came out strong in the opening quarter and scored six points each and then continued to score to lead the Spartans over Fulton Unity Christian 52-40 Friday, Dec. 4.
Ridgewood outscored Fulton Unity Christian 16-10 in the opening quarter with four Spartans scoring. In addition to Norberg and Nimrick, Tyler Waugh and Cody Lanning made a bucket each.
Ridgewood’s second quarter was the best of the night as Nimrick pumped in an additional seven points and Norberg had six. Waugh scored three and Brandon Wilkinson, two.
Ridgewood went into the locker room with a 36-22 lead at halftime.
Lanning led the Spartans in the third period, scoring two baskets for four points. Waugh had three and Clayton Carr, two. Fulton Unity Christian scored 10 to Ridgewood’s nine.
Four players scored in the final period to win the game. Norberg, Wilkinson and Ben Smith had two points each. Nimrick made one of three from the free throw line.
