Join the Black Hawk College Physical Science class and Science Club for a night of star viewing Wednesday, May 4.

Jupiter should be the main event. Try your hand at using several small telescopes or just look into the eyepiece of the college’s 12-inch reflector trained on different objects throughout the night. You also are invited to bring your own telescope.

Setup will be from 8 to 9 p.m. Viewing will be from 9 p.m. to midnight in the field below the East Campus Ag Arena.

All community members are welcome.

If cloudy, the event will be canceled.
