At approximately 5:30am White County Corrections Officers advised that three inmates had escaped from the jail.  A pipe was used to break a hole in the wall to gain access outside.  Outside video showed all three subjects running on foot down alley at 3:05am.

Charges: Agg Batt. with Firearm/Murder
DOB: 02/07/90 AGE:28
6'0", 185lbs, Brown Hair, Hazel Eyes
Charges: UNL Use of Weapon
DOB: 11/13/56
5'09" 200lbs, Gray Hair Blu Eyes
Charges: THEFT
If anyone in the public has information on the whereabouts of these subjects contact the White County Sheriff's Office at 618-382-5321 or your local law enforcement agency.  These subjects are considered dangerous and do not attempt to approach them.
On 6/16/2018 at approximately 7:34 p.m., one of the three men that escaped from the White County Jail early Saturday Morning, was taken into custody. Justin M. Bray was at a rural location East of Crossville. Bray was spotted walking along a country road, he fled on foot, and was located in a oil field tank. The White County Sheriff's Office was assisted by US Marshal service, Illinois State Police and Carmi k-9 unit.Bray was taken into custody with out incident. Bray was transported to the White County Jail where he now faces escape charges. Bail was set at One Million Dollars.
 Also, three subjects have been held in connection with the escape from the White County Jail. White County States Attorney Denton Aud, will file formal charges on Monday morning 6/18/2018. They are Wendi M. Owen, (Grayville) and Carly D. Schmittler, (Grayville) and Elijah R. Locher, (Crossville). White County Sheriff Doug Maier, would like to remind the public that any attempt to aid a fugitive can result in criminal charges.
 At approximately 8:30 p.m. on 6/17/2018, several motorists reported two male subjects matching the description of Zachary Shock and Johnny Tipton along IL. Rt #1 about 1 mile North of Il. Rt. #141. The motorists advised the subjects had left the roadway and ran into the wooded area. This is between Norris City and Omaha, both subjects were said to be wearing shorts and no shirts.
 Officers from numerous departments from White County and surrounding counties responded to this area. A drone ffrom Hamilton County and two K-9 dogs from Illinois Stae Police were called in to the area. A massive effort to locate the two individuals was undertaken, at this time  24 year old Zachery Shock and 61 year old Johnny Tipton, have not been located. Sheriff Maier, warns the public that these individuals are dangerous and if seen contact local law enforcement.
