The Henry County Republicans will host their annual Lincoln Day Dinner fundraiser on Tuesday, April 23 at The Stables, in Kewanee.

The social hour begins at 6 p.m. with the buffet dinner and program to follow at 6:45 p.m.

Richard Porter, the National Committeeman for Illinois, will be the keynote speaker.

Porter served as a special assistant to President George H.W. Bush and as Executive Secretary of the Domestic Policy council, then Counselor to Vice President Dan Quayle. Prior to that, he served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Policy Review and Analysis for the Department of the Treasury.

State Senators Neil Anderson and Chuck Weaver and State Reps. Tony McCombie and Dan Swanson also will be part of the evening’s speakers.
