Students in the drama department at Geneseo High School will take the stage on Friday,
Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov.2, for their fall play, “Play On!”

Performances are at 7 p.m. on both nights and tickets, at $5 each, are available at the
door. The show, written by Rick Abbot, is presented by special arrangement with
Samuel French, Inc., a Concord Theatricals Company.

Joseph DePauw, Geneseo, is directing the show and he said, “It is a play within a play.
The Corn Cob Players are trying to put on a show, written by a local playwright. The
problem is the writer keeps changing the script every few days. This causes a great deal
of frustration on the part of the actors and staff, and the show is a very good comedy.”
Cast members include Storm Baca, Sylvia Baumgardner, Tyler Belanger, Jaime Bizarri,
Caroline Burmahl, Hannah Hogue, Matthew Kozemski, Jack Moore, Alice Roseman and
Mairi Snyder.
